Recap: iCare: Designing Healing Futures Workshop at the University of Toronto

This month, I delivered a workshop on Digitized Diasporic Memory for the University of Toronto's Faculty of Information students and alumni. My workshop was part of the iCare: Designing Healing Futures workshop series

During the presentation, I discussed counter-archives, crowdsourced knowledge sharing, orality, sampling, and mind-to-mind networks. Participants were invited to critically think through the concept of community — both within the realm of participatory research and in the context of open source software projects.

Participants also received a hands-on tutorials of Airtable and Logseq, which are software apps used in the thesis project.
